DureX’s expertise includes high-volume progressive die stamping, as well as complementing capabilities in various value added services. While technology and equipment help make DureX a success, the real story is one of highly skilled and experienced people. The Press Department set up team and supervisors average over 25 years of experience at DureX.
Our Press Department consists of over 50 presses, which include both automatic and secondary presses ranging in size up to 400 tons with capabilities including complex progressive dies and deep drawn stampings. We have the ability to feed and stamp materials from .005” to .312” thick. In addition to our progressive dies and secondary operations, we also have wire forming, double action presses, and shell trimmer presses. Our fully equipped toolroom assures greater flexibility in tool construction, faster die changeovers, and makes jigs & fixtures which in turn gives us the ability to offer the most cost effective method for your program.
Presses may be dedicated to a particular product or customer to get the job done right and on time. When appropriate, DureX utilizes work cells to minimize the handling of the product to offer JIT deliveries. DureX’s in house tool makers ensure that dies are properly maintained to produce parts to exact print specifications.
