Product Engineering
DureX has the resources to offer cradle to grave manufacturing and welcomes working in “partnership” with the customer to achieve the necessary results.
Through a process called ESI, Early Supplier Involvement, our customers interact with DureX’s “State-of-the-art” Engineering Department from the program’s inception. When brainstorming with our customers, we learn the specific requirements that are critical to each job. We then have the ability to offer suggestions, in an effort to reduce and improve the manufacturing process.
Our CAD engineering capabilities enhance DureX’s ability to engineer products and tooling utilizing a cost effective approach. When a suggestion has been approved, prototypes and pre-production may be supplied to further prove out the product before going to production or committing to hard tooling.
DureX is proud to use State-of-the-art SOLIDWORKS 3D SOLID MODELING PROGRAM. This system allows for complete integration between our engineers and customers who are SOLIDWORKS users as well.
Upon completion of the tooling layout, our highly skilled toolmakers build everything from simple piercing or forming dies, to sophisticated multi-station progressive dies. These tools are capable of producing parts to exact tolerances. This ensures our customers repeatability, quality and on time deliveries throughout the manufacturing process.
